I’m still here. Winter, time of hibernation, isn’t it. Mine started early. Flu knocked me for six. Weeks of it. Then some dark days. Never before in my life have I been so happy to see the backside of the holidays. Usually they are a time of great celebration for me what with my birthday, Christmas, and the New Year all lined up in a row like three peas in a pod. But this year, for reasons beyond me, I didn’t celebrate until they were over.
And since then? Timeless and great beauty in a winter-sleep. My life grows, catching me sometimes in awe and in wonder. I love how things unfold. Everything happening as it is. Perfect. Even in days of difficulties. Or days of absolute joy.
There are: ideas, new projects, writing, photos, articles, journals, train schedules, and far too many time zones between me and those I love.
Spring is arriving and….. I am waking……. with more to tell you….. but first tell me – are you still there?

Yes, like bulbs hiding through the winter and then somehow coming up again with little input from those who appreciate them.
Flu can be so debilitating. Take care.

I have written posts about feeling like I have been hibernating too. (or should be!) And I have been vaguely depressed lately which adds to the whole malaise.

Yes, still here. Surviving - and enjoying every little herald of spring. Trying to enjoy the moments of surviving, and not wishing for something warmer and better. That too will be transient.

We are! It's always a joy to read your posts -- I always find them life-affirming, no matter what they're about.

Still here! Knowing you will resurface eventually and never disappointed when you do. Jolidays were a cross to bear here also, though I'm not sure why. Rejoicing at the longer days and anticipating the return of light.

Still here and so glad that you are waking up from your hibernation. I had the flu, too--weeks, like you. Also, I just carry too much darkness in my head in the winter. Yesterday it was 80 degrees and I came alive! Today it's cool again and I feel sleepy. Can you identify with any of that? Stay well, Susanne, and post when you can.

Still here. Waiting like a child for Santa, practicing patience and hoping you are well, or mending.
Spring...it's coming!

It is good to hear from you again.

Thank you every one. I rarely, if ever, comment on my own posts - but I wanted to say thank you to all for sticking with me even when weeks and sometimes months went by without not a word from me. Your comments are why I am still here. Thank you!!!

I'd like to wander your muse. get lost in them, but only when you're distracted by something else. Like a little gnome, maybe an elfen, invisible. Rummaging through your writings, stealing away, snuggled up between Bella & LuLu, then poof! I leave, with your words ... but their never enough.
